Admissions Publications
During my time as a member of the Marketing Department at St. Catherine's School, we re-designed and updated copy for the school's admissions recruitment publications. For our efforts, we were awarded the 2014 Silver Award for Student Recruitment Publications, tying with American University by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

  • Welcome Guide - Woop woop! Little Suzie got in! Now what? The Welcome Guide whets the appetites of accepted families months before the start of school in the fall. The "Saints Talk" section was quite fun to write. 


Headquartered in Charlottesville, VA The Scout Guide issues print guides highlighting locally owned businesses and business owners in more than seventy cities across the U.S.

St. Catherine's and its brother school, St. Christopher's were the first and only schools featured in the Richmond Scout Guide in 2014. I had the opportunity to create the concept behind the two schools' spread in the issue. By keeping the message simple, the close up photos of the students stood out amongst the common layout local businesses use in The Scout Guide. Aka the wide shot of employees + store or product in background format.  


As the resident millennial on board, I recognized the opportunity for St. Catherine's to expand their social marketing efforts with Instagram. There was one thing missing, the students' voices. "Instasaints" allows a more intimate, day-in-the-life view of the school that can only be captured by students (and occasional teachers). Following this insight, I successfully pitched, implemented, and managed the account.
